Who Am I?

For starters, I was born of a virgin
I am my father's only begotten son
Angels announced my birth
During my infancy, a King tried to have me killed
But my father sent warning to my earthly parents that they should flee
I was baptized at the age of 30
Unfortunately my baptizer was beheaded
I was taken up to a high mountain where I was tempted
But I resisted that temptation
I raised some one from the dead during my earthly ministry
I delivered a sermon on the mount
I was crucified along side two thieves
After I died, I descended into hell and was resurrected after 3 days
When I return to earth, I will reign for 1000 years
I am sometimes referred to as The Good Shepherd, the Lamb of God, the Son of Man, and the Word
I am the savior of all humanity

So, Who Am I?

Wait, what? Did you say Jesus? Well, I guess that's an understandable mistake, even though I was born over 1000 years before Jesus. After all, he does share a lot of the same characteristics as me. But its ok, I'm used to this sort of thing by now. Mithra and Krishna, who both also came before Jesus, share these same characteristics with me as well.

But none the less, it is I, Horus - the Egyptian messiah. Wait, you say you've never heard of me? That's a shame. I guess you were never taught about me. But it's ok, I forgive you. You can easily look me up and find out about me online so you know that I'm telling you the truth. I know how hard this must be, to realize that Jesus isn't unique, and that there were many messiahs before him, but we'll get through this together.

After all, I am the savior of all humanity.
